The world's longest documented hair belongs to Xie Qiuping (China) at 5.627 m when measured on May 8, 2004. She has been growing her hair since 1973 from the age of 13.

At 140 CHF for cutting and drying in an english-speaking hairdresser (plus a lead time of minimum 3 days in making the appointment, in a village like Schafhausen), I guess getting my hair to be part of Guiness book might be an interesting option if I was to remain in this blessed and prosperous country for much longer... :-P
